You Will Need:
Gram Flour / Besan - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 1/4 cup
Ghee/ Clarified Butter - 4 tbsp
Water - 1/4 cup
Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp
Heat 2 tbsp of ghee in a wok. Add the gram flour and fry on low heat without forming lumps. Fry until you get the aroma and the flour turns dark yellow.
Add sugar and mix well. Cook till sugar starts to melt. Add water and keep on stirring till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan. Add ghee and cardamom powder and keep stirring till the mixture turns thick and leaves the sides of the pan.
Grease a plate with ghee and empty the sweet into it Spread evenly. Cut into pieces once cool.
